As much as I would love to buy one from you, I would probably want to do it fairly and either sell to the first PM I got, or list it on ebay as an auction and see how it went. That is just my opinion though.
Is $38 the cost for replacing a head? That's quite expensive judging from the fact that a brand new doll is only $87 with outfit (outfit alone is $26). But again, with Lindsey, I guess it's worth it. I just saw an auction ended with $84.50 (for the head only). I don't know why people only want to buy a head. Is Lindsey's body the same as any AGT dolls? If so, I guess you can make a Lindsey doll using the head and of course you will have to buy her outfit separately. I don't have a Lindsey doll and I can not afford ebay price. But maybe this is another way to make your own Lindsey doll? It is still too expensive for me though.

Another naive thought: can you send a headless doll to AG hospital and ask for a Lindsey's head? I know this is probably wrong though. But will AG do it?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No one I know of has tried. I'm curious if that would be the case. It'd only be the cost of shipping (5.95 each way) to find out, but it's not good enough odds for me to spend $12 to quite possibly end up with nothing.Originally posted by ninasmom:

Are you talking about the seller that sold all those fake Lindsey Barretts? What a sneak...I fell hard for that one...Bought 4!
I already sold one of the Lindsey heads...I have two left. I will be listing one tonight at a start bid of $.99...
I got a lot of PM's and just don't know of a fair way to sell them. I am real sorry it has to be in an auction form.
My ebay ID is: 3girls1boy1mommy

I think I would feel far to guilty, and dishonest, to lie to the company and ask for something like a head for Lindsey when I send in a body of a doll that never was she.
Becky -
Did you send in the Lindseys without their heads, or did you ask that the original heads be returned?
I'm really thinking about doing this with our Lindsey, and I'd love to get to keep the "so-so" head to put on another body so both my daughters could have their own Lindseys (especially because it is our last name!).

GreyMyst: I hope you will eventually get a Lindsey's head. I am just waiting to buy a cheap Lindsey on ebay someday with her outfit and everything.
She sent in the dolls with their heads on and then asked that the old heads be returned with the repaired Lindsey dolls.
I sent the Lindsey's in and replaced the heads...I sent a note asking for the heads back.
I don't think I will be selling the last head. I apparently did not think it all the way through when I sold the other two. I don't want her to be reproduced. I had never even thought of something like that...Not once did that cross my mind. And now with all that is going on on Ebay with the fake dolls, I just don't want to add to it. Quilt, is now how I feel.
I am sorry guys for all who wanted the last head...I might just put her up in my closet for a later date.
Becky
